Dubai Chambers concludes a memorandum of understanding with "Ahya Information Technology"

Dubai, 8 December / WAM / Dubai Chambers concluded a memorandum of understanding with Ahya Information Technology Company, with the aim of stimulating commitment to responsible business practices in various sectors, and supporting leading companies in adopting environmental, social and governance sustainability standards.
The memorandum stipulates the strengthening of cooperation to develop the capabilities of companies holding the Dubai Chamber of Commerce label in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability standards, which contributes to achieving the goals of these companies related to sustainability, reaching carbon neutrality, and compatibility of their operations with Federal Decree Law No. (11) of 2024 regarding reducing the effects of climate change and the UAE Strategy for Climate Neutrality 2050. Under the memorandum, the two parties will cooperate to launch projects to enhance environmental, social, and governance sustainability practices by providing incentives. Exclusive, preferential and customized value-added initiatives for companies that have achieved the Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s mark in environmental, social and governance sustainability standards, in addition to developing knowledge resources, such as guidance tools designed to enhance the capabilities of these companies.
The memorandum also stipulates enhancing cooperation in the field of digital solutions and innovative tools that help companies measure and evaluate their performance in the field of emissions and sustainability, in addition to providing aggregated insights and analyzes derived from these companies to support continuous improvement and policy development.
