Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Haider Al-Jubouri: Preserving Arab identity through content creation
Director of the Technical Department of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Haider Al-Jubouri, stressed the importance of preserving Arab identity through the creation of media content by highlighting the Arab heritage and cultural achievements of the nation and deepening belonging to it.
This came during his participation in the sessions of the International Arab Media Dialogue Forum, which was held in Libya as part of the Tripoli Media Days activities under the patronage of Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government.
Al-Jubouri stressed the need to preserve identity by adhering to the use of the classical Arabic language, which faces great challenges. In digital media and globalization, which imposes the use of colloquial dialects and linguistic mixing and negatively affects the authenticity of the language, which requires purposeful content that combines authenticity and modernity to protect this identity and enhance the collective awareness of the people of our Arab nation. Integrated media to consolidate the centrality of the Palestinian issue And valuing the components of the Arab personality in its various aspects through the media and communication with Arab and international public opinion, and combating the tendencies of terrorism and extremism by spreading a culture of tolerance and moderation and rejecting extremism and hatred, and promoting development media in line with the contents of the Arab media map for sustainable development 2030, and encouraging media actors On quality, innovation, and interaction with developments in the global technological and digital scene.
The forum discussed, through three working sessions, a number of axes, including the axis of Arab identity and media content creation; The focus of professional training for media professionals and digital content development; The focus of employing artificial intelligence in the media.
