Venezuela: Warships accompany oil tankers to protect them from American forces

Informed sources told the New York Times: The American government said that the Venezuelan government ordered warships to accompany oil tankers to protect them from American forces.
The newspaper confirmed that the Venezuelan government had ordered the Navy to escort ships carrying petroleum products from the port, which increases the risk of confrontation with the United States after US President Donald Trump ordered the imposition of a blockade targeting the oil industry in the country.
