"Camel trip" It concludes its twelfth edition in Dubai

Dubai, 21 December / WAM / The twelfth edition of the camel trek landed yesterday in Dubai after an exceptional heritage march that extended 1,050 kilometers across the sand dunes of the desert of the United Arab Emirates and took 21 continuous days on the backs of camels with the participation of 29 participants from 18 different nationalities in a living embodiment of the values ​​of travel, patience and coexistence.

The journey started from the Al Sila area in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, passing through a number of prominent desert stations, reaching its final stop in the Heritage Village in the Global Village in Dubai.

His Excellency Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmouk, CEO of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, stressed that the essence of the camel journey is the deep-rooted meanings it carries based on commitment, the spirit of cooperation and patience, which are values that emerged clearly as the participants faced the challenges of the rugged desert paths and the changing climatic conditions, which at some stages required increasing the daily traveling hours to maintain the itinerary of the trip, which represents a source of great pride for the authentic message it carries in preserving and preserving the national heritage and reflects the center’s vision of consolidating Emirati values. Rooted, foremost among which is love and coexistence through a realistic experience lived on the desert land.

He added that the trip contributed to introducing participants to the value of camels as one of the most important symbols of national heritage.

Dutch participant Morgan van Brink expressed his pride in going through this unique experience, stressing that it taught him the meaning of patience and building a relationship based on trust with camels, describing being in the heart of the desert as a renewed discovery of a different world every day.

Emirati participant Sultan Ali Al Razi stressed that the camel trek gave him inner peace and an experience that cannot be measured by distance, noting that living in the rhythm of the desert restored to him the meanings of simplicity and balance and deepened his connection to the heritage of his ancestors and their authentic values.
