Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project and Lufthansa Technik Middle East inaugurate a facility to support aviation services in Dubai

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South announced the launch of the aircraft parts painting and processing center developed by Lufthansa Technik Middle East, in a step that reinforces the company’s commitment to expanding its operational capabilities in the region, and contributes to consolidating the project’s position as a major hub for advanced aviation services, maintenance, repair and aircraft refurbishment.
The new facility is designed to support the coating and curing processes used in the repair of structures and parts made up of composite materials, allowing for faster curing and drying processes, improving the efficiency of repair operations, and reducing work completion times for the benefit of customers in the region and beyond.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of Tahnoun Saif, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, and Ziad Al Hazmi, CEO of Lufthansa Technik Middle East, along with a number of senior officials from both sides.
Tahnoun Saif said: “The opening of the new coating and processing center for Lufthansa Technik Middle East represents another important step in the process of strengthening the aviation system in the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project. Lufthansa Technik Middle East provides specialized services in the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of modern commercial aircraft structures and parts, supporting airlines throughout the region. The company is headquartered in Dubai and provides component support, structural and composite repair services, as well as maintenance services for Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
