Boeing International announced the appointment of Fahd Al Muhairi as the company’s Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa Gulf Region, effective January 2026.

A statement yesterday stated that the appointment of Al Muhairi – who has a rich legacy of executive experience, as he previously served as General Manager of Raytheon Emirates – comes to add to Boeing an in-depth vision and strategic knowledge of the region’s requirements.

According to the statement, Al-Muhairi will be based in Dubai as the headquarters to manage the region’s operations, succeeding Colgate Gatha-Ora, who moved to assume a new executive position in the company. Al-Muhairi’s duties will focus on leading Boeing’s strategic initiatives and deepening its partnerships across the region in line with the ambitious national visions for developing the aviation, space and defense sectors.

President of Boeing International, Brendan Nelson, said: “Fahad Al Muhairi’s extensive leadership experience in the aviation and space sectors, in addition to his well-established relationships in the region, will be the cornerstone of continuing Boeing’s legacy that extends for more than eight decades in this strategic region, one of the most active aviation and space markets in the world.”

He added: “We are grateful to Colgate Gatta-Ora for his valuable contributions, and we are proud to have Al Muhairi join our leadership team, as we renew our commitment to investing in the region and providing innovative solutions that meet the aspirations of our partners and customers.”

Fahd Al Muhairi is classified as one of the most prominent Emirati national talents, as he holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Boston University. His career is distinguished by a long record of success in the energy, space, and defense sectors. He is expected to contribute to advancing innovation and scientific research, achieving growth for Boeing with partners in the region, and supporting major investments in local infrastructure.
