المملكة: Its fourth day… 227 falcons in 7 amateur rounds at the King Abdulaziz Festival

On Sunday, 7 qualifying rounds were held for local amateurs within Mallawah Competition in King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025, the largest gathering of falcons in the world, organized by The Saudi Falcons Club at its headquarters in Mulham (north of the city of Riyadh) during the period from December 25 to January 10, 2026, amid wide participation from local and international falconers.
227 falcons participated in the fourth day’s rounds, across 7 categories and 7 rounds, namely: Mathlouth Jir Farkh and Qarnas, Shaheen Farkh and Qarnas, two rounds for the free bird and one round for the free bird. Qarnas.
Mathlouth Jair Farkh round
The start came through the Mathlouth Jair Farkh round, in which Youssef Al Mustanir achieved first place with his falcon (Nomination), Faisal Al Sharafi came in second place with the falcon (Sultan), and Abdullah Al Afis came in third place with the falcon (Singer).
In the Mathlouth Jir Qarnas category round, Awad Al Aradi achieved first place with his falcon (Thanna), and Hamad Al Marri came in third place. In second place with the falcon (Daghash), and Fahd Al-Qahtani in third place with the falcon (V12).
In the third half of the Shaheen Farkh category, Mujab Al-Dosari with the falcon (Rima) achieved first place, Mishal Al-Shammari came in second place with the falcon (Al-Samsama), and Rakan Al-Shaibani came in third with the falcon (RG).
And in the Shaheen Qarnas category half, Muhammad Al-Buainain came in first place with the falcon (Shanah), Hamad Mohammed Al-Marri came in second place with the falcon (Hamah), and Abdullah Nasser Al-Marri came in third place with the falcon (Congratulations).
First half for the Free Farkh category
In the first half for the Free Farkh category, Abdulaziz Al-Fahiqi came in first place with the falcon (Lattam), Mudath Al-Dosari also with (Lattam) came in second place, and Fahd Al-Faridi with his falcon (Al-Mansouri) came in third place.
Competitions in the Free Farkh category continued in the second half, with Fawaz Al-Hajri achieving first place via (Ghaith), Sultan Al-Duwaikh came in second place via Falcon (Fawaz), and Muhammad Ghanem Al-Dosari came in third place via Falcon (Zarb).
The conclusion of the fourth day was via the Qarnas Heat category, in which Duaij Al-Duaij achieved first place via (Habas), and Sahmi Al-Hajri via Falcon (Wahq) came in second place, while Abdul Rahman Al-Fahiqi came in second place. In third place with his falcon (Tarab).
139 races and 1012 prizes
The King Abdulaziz Falcons Festival 2025 will witness the holding of 139 races, during which 1012 prizes with a total value exceeding 38 million riyals will be offered, within two main competitions: Al-Malwah (Al-Dawa 400 meters) and Al-Mazayen.
The Al-Malwah competition attracts categories of owners, amateurs and professionals. And the elite, with rounds designated for local falconers and others for international falconers.
While the Al-Mazayen competition focuses on the aesthetics of falcons according to precise standards that attract falconers from various countries.
