المملكة: 63 million riyals, the proceeds of 52 investment contracts in various sectors in Abqaiq
During the past year 2025 AD, the Municipality of Abqaiq Governorate concluded, through the Foras platform, 52 investment contracts, with a total value amounting to more than 63 million riyals, which included Diverse investment opportunities that meet the needs of the industrial and commercial sectors and logistics services, as part of its efforts to enhance municipal investment and develop economic activity.
Development of various activities
These contracts were distributed among specific activities, most notably the construction and operation of warehouses, workers’ housing, land transport activities and logistics services, in addition to developing industrial zones, commercial centers, and commercial markets, in a way that contributes to supporting economic activity in Abqaiq Governorate, raising the efficiency of investment of municipal assets, and improving the level of services.
For his part, the Mayor of Abqaiq Governorate, Engineer Muhammad Al-Dhafiri, explained that the signing of these contracts comes as an extension of the municipality’s efforts to stimulate investment and attract Qualitative projectsthat reflect the status of Abqaiq and serve its residents.
Supporting economic development
He indicated that offering investment opportunities is based on analyzing the economic reality and understanding the needs of the market and investors in Abqaiq Governorate, which contributes to supporting Economic development and making the governorate an attractive destination for investment, taking advantage of its vital location on a network of regional and major roads linking the regions of the Kingdom.
He indicated that the municipality is continuing to develop the municipal investment system and offer qualitative opportunities with an economic and service impact, stressing the municipality’s aspiration for more investment opportunities that contribute to sustainable development.
These efforts come within the efforts of the Abqaiq Governorate Municipality to enhance economic development, and in line with the Saudi vision. 2030, which aims to enable investment, develop cities, and improve the quality of life.
