Ajman Chamber and Oman Chamber in North Al Batinah discuss cooperation and economic partnership

Ajman, January 14 / WAM / His Excellency Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, discussed with His Excellency Engineer Saeed bin Ali Al Abri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in North Al Batinah Governorate, joint cooperation between the two chambers, the exchange of experiences and best practices, coordination mechanisms and participation in major economic events and exhibitions.
The meeting, which was held at the Ajman Chamber headquarters this morning, was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Khalifa bin Salmeen Al-Eryani, Member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, His Excellency Salem Al-Suwaidi, Director General, Ali Rashid Al-Kaitub, Executive Director of the Studies and Investment Development Sector at the Ajman Chamber, and Salem bin Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, the businessman, while the Omani delegation included Dr. Ali bin Salem Al-Badi, Chairman of the Laws and Legislation Committee of the Oman Chamber branch in the North Al Batinah Governorate, and a number of officials in the Chamber.
Al Muwaiji praised the depth and strength of the brotherly relations that bring together the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman at the leadership and popular levels, and the continuous development they are witnessing at various levels, stressing the Ajman Chamber’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in North Al Batinah, and expand areas of partnership and cooperation.
He stressed that future cooperation opportunities between the two sides are diverse and promising, in light of the competitive economic and investment capabilities of the Emirate of Ajman and the North Al Batinah Governorate, advanced infrastructure, and attractive elements for investment in many vital sectors.
His Excellency Engineer Saeed bin Ali Al Abri extended the invitation to participate in the Sohar Investment Forum 2026 in the North Al Batinah Governorate, with the aim of strengthening the institutional partnership between the two chambers, opening direct communication channels between businessmen, promoting investment opportunities in Ajman, and supporting the growth of trade exchange. He explained that the forum, which will be held on February 4 and 5, 2026, will review broad opportunities that include advanced industries, manufacturing industries, heavy and supportive industries, the food industry, medical industries, and recycling.
The attendees stressed the importance of the Ajman International Exhibition for Education and Training, and its vital role in providing an annual platform that brings together universities and educational bodies from the two countries, which contributes to strengthening strategic partnerships, exchanging experiences, and supporting academic and training cooperation in a way that serves comprehensive development aspirations and building human competencies.
The Ajman Chamber presented an overview of the work group for attracting investment in the emirate, reviewing the most prominent investment opportunities available in the sectors of tourism, industry, logistics services, infrastructure and recycling, and the competitive business environment that the emirate enjoys and investment incentives that support the growth of projects and the expansion of local and foreign investments.
The participants in the meeting recommended enhancing integration, partnership, and exchanging experiences between the two sides in the fields of franchising and enabling entrepreneurship.
