49 percent growth in the number of new investors in Ajman during 2025

Ajman, January 15, 2020 – The Department of Economic Development in Ajman revealed strong performance indicators during the year 2025, most notably recording a remarkable growth in new licenses by 14% compared to 2024, an indication of the continued momentum of economic activities in the emirate.
The annual report issued by the Ajman Competitiveness Office recorded a significant increase in the number of new investors by 49%, a clear indication of the emirate’s growing attractiveness to investors and the accelerating expansion of its business base.
The report showed an improvement in the license renewal process, which increased by 9%, which reflects the keenness of business owners to continue their activities and their confidence in the stability of the local market.
The total number of active licenses recorded a growth of 13%, while home project licenses witnessed a remarkable development, as new licenses increased by 33%, while the number of effective licenses for this category grew by 39%.
Economic permits increased by 18%, reflecting the flexibility of regulatory procedures and the expansion of services related to economic activities.
His Excellency Saif Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, confirmed that the positive indicators recorded during the year 2025 reflect the success of local economic policies and the dynamism of the business environment in the emirate, which enhances Ajman’s position on the investment map and keeps pace with the goals of “Ajman Vision 2030.”
