The first comment from the Nobel Committee after Machado presented the award medal to Trump

The Nobel Committee said Friday that cannot be separated from its winner, the day after this year’s winner presented her medal to US President Donald

The statement continued: "Even if the medal or certificate later passes to someone else, this does not change the identity of the Nobel Peace Prize winner."
Political Tracks
The committee said that it would not make any comment "Connected to the Peace Prize winners or the political tracks in which they are involved"
She pointed out that there are no restrictions governing the disposition of the winners of the medal, the certificates, and the sums of money they receive as part of the award.
She pointed out that previous winners sold or donated their medals.
Democratic Rights
Machado was awarded her award in recognition of"Her tireless work in promoting the democratic rights of the people of Venezuela and her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy"
Trump had strongly sought the award last year, for efforts that he says put an end to eight wars.
