42 players represent the UAE national team in the Gulf Swimming Championship in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, January 21 / WAM / The Emirates Aquatic Sports Federation announced the participation of the UAE national team with a list of 42 swimmers in the 30th Gulf Swimming Championship, which begins tomorrow at the Olympic Pool in the Mohammed bin Zayed City Sports Center in Abu Dhabi, and continues until January 25.

The championship competitions are organized by the Emirates Aquatic Sports Federation, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Abu Dhabi Aquatic Club.

The organizing committee had previously announced the participation of 200 male and female swimmers representing 6 countries in the event, competing in various age groups from 10 years up to the general category.

Abdullah Al Wahaibi, Chairman of the Business Committee of the Emirates Water Sports Federation, confirmed that the list of the national team participating in the championship competitions is the largest in the history of its participation, which is a great motivation for more achievements and standing on the podiums.

Al-Wahaibi welcomed the teams participating in the tournament, stressing the complete readiness for the start of the competitions tomorrow.
