During the meeting, topics of common interest in the field of air transport were reviewed, and the efforts made by the Kingdom in managing airspace, and mechanisms for managing air traffic with high efficiency through advanced technical systems managed by qualified national cadres of sons and daughters of the nation, working in accordance with The highest professional standards internationally approved.

Operational Operations Management

After that, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom and her accompanying delegation visited the regional control center at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, during which the delegation was briefed on the mechanism for monitoring air traffic and managing operational operations around the clock, in addition to learning about the technical systems used in monitoring airspace. In a way that contributes to enhancing levels of safety and smooth air traffic.

The program included an introductory presentation presented by the Saudi Air Navigation Services Company, which reviewed the company’s role in managing air traffic within the Kingdom’s airspace, and the integrated work system it adopts to ensure the highest levels of safety and operational efficiency.
In addition to its role in managing crises and dealing with them according to advanced operational plans and approved procedures that ensure continuity of operations in various circumstances.
At the conclusion of the visit, the two sides discussed a number of topics of mutual interest, They discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in the fields of air navigation and airspace management.
