The Middle East Sustainability Forum announces Tabreed as a major partner for its fourth edition in 2026

The Middle East Sustainability Forum today announced that Tabreed, the global leader in energy-efficient district cooling solutions and sustainable cooling infrastructure, has joined as a key partner for the fourth edition of the forum, which will be held on January 27 and 28, 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and with the support of the Supreme Council for the Environment.
The fourth edition of the Middle East Sustainability Forum 2026 will be held under the slogan “Enhancing consensus, innovation and implementation for energy and climate transformation,” and is expected to attract more than 500 leaders and decision-makers from the region and the world, including ministers, government officials, financial institutions, major companies, investors, and international experts. The forum opens with a special speech by His Excellency Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, followed by a keynote speech by His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, the United Nations Special Envoy for Financing the 2030 Agenda, to set the regional and international frameworks for discussion on the energy transition and climate action.
Tabreed’s joining the forum as a major partner reflects its role in providing reliable, low-carbon cooling solutions for major projects throughout the Middle East and beyond. District cooling is key to reducing electricity demand, improving energy efficiency, and supporting national decarbonization strategies in hot-climate economies.

The discussions of the fourth edition of the forum address a number of main topics, including alignment of national visions and public policies, sustainable financing and financing of the transition, energy transition and industrial decarbonization, climate policies and legislation, carbon and biodiversity markets, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, innovation and climate entrepreneurship, and building capabilities that support effective implementation.
The 2026 edition also includes an expanded program of specialized workshops, presented by leading global institutions, including sessions led by KPMG on achieving zero neutrality and responsible sourcing, the United Nations Development Program on carbon markets and Article VI mechanisms, and the Anthes Group on sustainability, corporate reputation and value creation.
The 2026 edition of the Middle East Sustainability Forum is supported by the two main partners: Safaa Platform and the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait.
