Gulfood Food Exhibition is the largest global food exhibition in its sector and one of the distinguished annual events in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, visited the Gulfood Food Exhibition 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City, where His Highness confirmed that the Gulfood Exhibition is the largest in the world in its sector and one of the distinguished annual events in Dubai.

His Highness said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “During my visit today to the Gulfood Food Exhibition 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City, in whose expansion we invested 10 billion dirhams to be able to host huge events.”

His Highness added: “The Gulfood Exhibition, which is also held at the Dubai World Trade Center at the same time, is considered one of these distinguished annual events in Dubai, as its size has doubled 100% over the previous session with the participation of 195 countries and 8,500 institutions displaying more than 1.5 million products… making it among the largest globally in its sector.”

His Highness concluded by saying: “The UAE plays a vital role in the region and the world in supporting food trade and strengthening supply chains. It was and will remain, God willing, the hub of trade between the East and the West.”
