Ajman Chamber records 52.1% growth in the value of certificates of origin during 2025, amounting to 7.851 billion dirhams

Ajman, January 30 / WAM / The Ajman Chamber achieved strong economic performance during the year 2025, recording a remarkable growth in the number and values of certificates of origin transactions, which reflects the vitality of the commercial and industrial sector in the emirate and its growing role as a regional center for export and re-export.
The annual statistical report of the Ajman Chamber showed that the total number of transactions for certificates of origin issued by the emirate reached 46,888 certificates during 2025, compared to 44,739 certificates in 2024, with a growth rate of 4.8%.
The increase was driven by the growth of export certificates, which rose to 12,852 certificates compared to 10,547 certificates in the previous year, while re-export certificates recorded 34,036 certificates.
In terms of value, certificates of origin transactions recorded a significant jump, as the total value reached 7.851 billion dirhams in 2025 compared to 5.162 billion dirhams in 2024, achieving a strong growth rate of 52.1%, which confirms the expansion of foreign trade movement through Ajman.
The value of Ajman’s direct exports amounted to 2.12 billion dirhams, while the value of re-exports amounted to 5.73 billion dirhams, which reflects the pivotal role of the emirate as a trade gateway for re-exporting goods to regional and international markets.
Libya topped the list of countries receiving Ajman’s exports and re-exports with a value of approximately 2.8 billion dirhams. The list included several countries, including Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Ethiopia, Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan, which reflects the diversity of markets and the breadth of the emirate’s commercial partnerships.
The membership of the Ajman Chamber (new and renewed licenses) during the past year recorded 43,486 memberships, distributed among commercial, industrial, professional activities and self-employment licenses, which indicates the continued growth of the business environment and the expansion of the base of economic establishments in the emirate.
The Ajman Chamber confirmed that these results reflect the strength of the commercial movement in Ajman, and the emirate’s benefit from its logistical infrastructure and strategic location, in addition to the business environment that supports investment, which strengthens its position as a vital center for regional trade and re-export, and an important tributary to the national economy.
