المملكة: A 5-hour surgery restores a smile to a sixty-year-old woman at King Faisal Hospital in Mecca

Rapid intervention, within the Saudi health care model, contributed to ending the suffering of a patient in her sixties who had been suffering from complete tooth loss for a long time, leading to severe bone atrophy that prevented the possibility of performing dental implants. The case was handled by a specialized medical team at the Specialized Dental Center in King Faisal Hospital in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, member of Dental implants supported by bone grafts. After completing the diagnosis and explaining the treatment plan to the patient, it was decided to perform a surgical intervention by treating gums, dental implants, and dental prosthetics in cooperation with the anesthesia department.
High accuracy
We also relied on three-dimensional digital systems to plan the surgery with high accuracy, which contributes to placing the implants in their ideal locations and achieving successful results. He stated that the operation was successful and took five hours without recording any significant complications.
