The Chamber publishes the election schedule on the website for the electoral cycle (31)

Mr. Abbas Abdul Mohsen Radhi, Chairman of the Elections Committee for the 31st session of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced during the third Elections Committee meeting held at noon on Thursday, February 5, 2026, the announcement of publishing the election schedule for the (31) electoral session on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in order to enable Chamber members to view it and verify the accuracy of their data, in preparation for submitting requests to list names or update and correct data in accordance with what is regulated by the Chamber’s law and its executive regulations.

Radhi explained that, starting from Tuesday, February 10, 2026, until Tuesday, March 10, 2026, applications for including names and updating and correcting data in the election schedule will be open during official working hours, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Customer Service Department headquarters on the ground floor of the Bahrain Chamber “House of Merchants” building.

He stated that publishing the election schedule on February 7 comes within the framework of the Elections Committee’s keenness to provide the Chamber members with the opportunity to review their data in advance, and to submit requests for inclusion, amendment, or correction within the period specified by law, in a way that ensures the integrity and accuracy of the election schedule.

He pointed out that this procedure is based on the provisions of Article (51) of the Executive Regulations of the Chamber Law issued by Resolution No. (156) of 2013, which obliges members whose names were wrongfully neglected to be recorded or an error was found in their registration data in the electoral roll, to submit a request to the Elections Committee to include their names or correct their data based on the commercial registration data at the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Chairman of the Committee invites the members of the Chamber to review the election schedule and verify the inclusion of their names and the accuracy of their data, in preparation for submitting requests for correction or updating when needed, in accordance with the procedures and deadlines specified by law.

Radhi added that the Elections Committee will study the submitted applications and decide on them within a period not exceeding one working day from the date of submitting the application, provided that the applicant is notified of the committee’s decision via phone, fax, or e-mail, and is provided with an official statement signed by the Chairman of the Elections Committee.

He stressed that the committee will work to add the names of the members whose right to vote is proven to the election table after completing the necessary procedures, calling on all members of the Chamber to take the initiative to update their data within the specified period, to ensure the exercise of their electoral right with complete ease. He also noted that the member’s representation in the voting process will be through the owner of the individual institution or the legal representative of the member company, according to the capital registered in the Chamber’s records and in accordance with the table attached to the Chamber’s law.

The Chairman of the Elections Committee concluded his statement by emphasizing the Committee’s commitment to implementing the provisions of the law and regulations regulating the electoral process with complete transparency and integrity, in a way that enhances members’ confidence and serves the public interest of the commercial and industrial sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
