Emirates Post issues a commemorative stamp documenting "Sharjah Heritage Days"
Sharjah, February 8, 2017 – Emirates Post launched a commemorative postage stamp documenting the “Sharjah Heritage Days”, coinciding with its 23rd edition, which is currently being held in the heart of Sharjah and continues until February 15, under the slogan “The Glow of Authenticity”.
This publication reflects the importance of preserving and celebrating national heritage and confirms Sharjah’s position as a leading platform for preserving and documenting tangible and intangible heritage through contemporary means.
The commemorative edition includes 6 designs inspired by the tournament’s logo, embodying the meanings of joy, celebration, identity, heritage, and connection to roots and inherited values, in addition to the symbolism of family, stability, and aspiration to the future linked to authenticity.
