Bahrain participates in the 29th Arab-African International Investment Summit in Luxor

The Kingdom of Bahrain is scheduled to participate in the 29th session of the Arab-African International Investment Summit, which reflects its commitment to enhancing economic cooperation between Arab and African countries, as the summit will be held from 18 to 22 next October in the Luxor Governorate in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The President of the Union of Arab Women Investors, Dr. Hoda Yassa told Al-Watan that this summit represents a vital platform to support women’s empowerment efforts in the field of innovation and investment, noting that the role of women has become an essential pillar for achieving sustainable economic development.
Dr. expressed. Yassa expressed her aspiration for a broader participation of Bahraini businessmen and women in this important event, praising the strengthening of bridges of Arab-African and international cooperation based on the common belief that “one hundred Arabs are united by only one will, and there is no protection for them except through their solidarity.”
Dr. added. He regrets that empowering women economically is no longer an option but a necessity, especially in light of the rapid global changes.
She pointed out that the Union works under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity to enhance cooperation and support investment partnerships between Arab countries.
She said: “The summit activities will begin with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, followed by the summit’s work in Luxor, where it will address the importance of economic integration between Arab and African countries and its role in promoting sustainable development.
The summit witnesses wide participation of about 40 countries, including all BRICS countries, in addition to a number of African, European, American and Latin countries.
