Ajman University achieves the highest rating "5+ stars" From an institution "QS"
Ajman, February 18 / WAM / Ajman University has achieved a remarkable academic achievement by obtaining the overall and highest rating of “5+ stars” in the QS Stars system of the global QS Foundation, thus becoming among a limited elite of academic institutions around the world, and one of only two institutions in the UAE to obtain this high rating.
The university received a 5-star rating in nine main areas, including: education, graduate employability, good governance, international engagement, scientific research, university facilities, societal impact, diversity, equity and inclusion, and the integrity of academic programs.
This accurate evaluation reflects the quality of the university’s outputs, the strength of its research system, and its compatibility with the needs of the labor market, which is consistent with the country’s directions towards building an economy based on knowledge and innovation and developing future specializations such as artificial intelligence, health sciences, and sustainability.
In this context, Dr. Karim Al-Saghir, Director of Ajman University, stressed that obtaining this evaluation demonstrates the success of the university, as a non-profit institution, in investing in the pillars of academic credibility represented in teaching competencies, advanced research capabilities, and sound governance.
He explained that the university will continue in the next phase to attract elite academics, modernize its programs, and expand its partnerships with the public and private sectors, with the aim of maintaining community confidence and preparing competencies capable of contributing effectively to the national development process.
