Following the Supreme Court’s decision… Trump announces raising comprehensive customs duties to 15% with immediate effect

Washington, February 21 / WAM / Today, US President Donald Trump announced the lifting of comprehensive customs duties on imports from 10% to 15% with immediate effect.

This decision came the day after a ruling issued by the Supreme Court, according to which it invalidated a large part of the fees imposed by Trump since his return to the presidency.

Trump explained through his account on the “Truth Social” platform that he had taken the decision to increase fees to 15% as “the fully permissible level that has been legally tested,” noting that this step came after he conducted a comprehensive review of the Supreme Court’s decision, which he described as “extremely anti-American.”
