"Women Dubai" divorce "A creative Emirati woman" To empower women and support creative projects

Dubai, February 25 / WAM / The Dubai Women’s Renaissance Association, in cooperation with the Tarahum Charitable Foundation, launched an innovative initiative under the title “Innovative Emirati Woman…From Empowerment to Production,” aiming to empower Emirati women in the field of tailoring and sewing women’s clothing through an integrated training program that keeps pace with the needs of the labor market and enhances the economic independence of Emirati women.

Dr. Fatima Al Falasi, Director General of the Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai, confirmed that the Association continues its pioneering role in empowering Emirati women and enhancing their participation in the national economy by launching qualitative initiatives that translate the national vision into practical, sustainable programs, noting that investing in women’s capabilities and professional qualifications represents a fundamental pillar for building a cohesive society and a diverse creative economy.

She added that the “Creative Emirati Woman…From Empowerment to Production” initiative embodies this trend by moving Emirati women from the stage of qualification and training to the stage of production and economic independence, thus enhancing their role in the creative industries sector and supporting the comprehensive development process in the UAE.

For her part, Lulwah Ahmed Al Farsi, Acting Director of the Training and Consultation Department at the Association, said that the initiative targets 20 Emirati women and provides them with a specialized training program that extends through three integrated stages that begin with vocational qualification and end with the stage of commercial production and entrepreneurship, ensuring the participants’ transition from the learning stage to economic sustainability, appreciating the support of the Tarahum Charitable Foundation.

She explained that the foundational level of the program, which was completed, lasted for three months, with 68 hours of practical training, and focused on providing participants with basic skills in detailing and sewing women’s clothing, dealing with tools and equipment, and implementing practical pieces in accordance with quality standards.

She stressed that the “Creative Emirati Woman…From Empowerment to Production” initiative aims to move participants to the stage of self-reliance and launch successful commercial projects that contribute to supporting the national economy and enhancing the role of Emirati women in the creative industries sector, in line with the UAE’s vision of empowering women and supporting national competencies.

For its part, the Tarahum Charitable Foundation confirmed that its participation in the initiative stems from its deep belief that empowering women economically is one of the most important paths of sustainable charitable work. Pointing out that supporting creative projects for Emirati women represents an investment in people and contributes to transforming skills into real production opportunities that enhance financial independence and open new horizons for entrepreneurship.
