The doors of the Grand Mosque are an essential element in organizing the entry and exit of worshipers and Umrah pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan, which contributes to facilitating movement and safe and quick access to performing worship with ease.
The General Authority for the Affairs of The Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque are managed and organized to ensure Flow of movement inside the Grand Mosque.

Doors and bridges designated for the entry of pilgrims
- King Abdulaziz Gate No. 1.
- King Fahd Gate No. 79.
- Umrah Gate.
- Peace Gate 19.
- Shubaika Bridge 64, first floor.
- Ajyad Bridge No. 7, floor The first.
Doors designated for the entry of worshipers
- Bridges and stairs: Ajyad Bridge – Al Marwa Bridge – Al Safa Bridge – Al Arqam Staircase – Staircase 74 – Stairway 84 – Stairway 91.
- Doors: Chapter 69 – 70 – 71 – 72 – 73 – 89 – 90 – 114 – 121 – 123.
Doors leading to women’s prayer rooms
Chapter 70 – 85 – 86 – 87 – 89.
Doors and bridges designated for people with disabilities
- Chapter 68 – 69 – 89 – 93 – 94 – 114 – 123.
- Bridges: Al-Marwa Bridge – Al-Shabika Arabat Bridge – Ajyad Bridge – Al Safa Bridge.
Doors designated for funerals
- Door 7: for the funeral chapel.
- Door 5: for exit.
- Doors 13 and 14: for emergencies only.
These arrangements come to ensure that entry and exit movement is organized with high efficiency, which contributes to the comfort of pilgrims and worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan.
