المملكة: The King Salman Relief Center discusses the humanitarian response plan for Yemen

The session was attended by the Advisor to the General Supervisor of the Center, Director of the Department of Partnerships and International Relations, Hana Omar, and representatives of the relevant departments at the Centre, and the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in the Republic of Yemen, Julian Harness, and a delegation from the United Nations, and in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, and international organizations and agencies. Donors, and representatives of foreign embassies in the Kingdom.

Humanitarian Response Plan

The session discussed providing a technical platform to discuss the Humanitarian Response Plan. For the year 2026 AD, as well as building a common understanding of the main priorities and operational mechanisms, and facilitating the early adoption of the plan as the basic framework for meeting humanitarian needs in Yemen in 2026 AD.

This session comes within the framework of strengthening the existing cooperation between the King Salman Relief Center and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, in a way that contributes to supporting joint coordination and developing mechanisms for humanitarian and relief work at the international level.
