"Ajman Tourism" Sign a cooperation agreement with "Coral Travel" To enhance the promotion of the emirate

Ajman, 6 March / WAM / The Department of Tourism, Culture and Media in Ajman signed a qualitative cooperation agreement with Coral Travel, one of the most prominent tour operators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in a step that embodies a deliberate marketing approach aimed at consolidating the emirate’s position on the map of European travellers’ favorite destinations, diversifying the base of tourism export markets, and maximizing its competitive presence in markets with economic value and high tourist spending.

The agreement was signed virtually, and was signed by His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Media in Ajman, from the department’s headquarters, while Mr. Hijabi Ayhan, Director of Product Management at Coral Travel, signed it from the German capital, Berlin, in the presence of the representative office of the department, which is present at the Berlin International Tourism Exchange, the most prominent global platform for the travel and tourism industry.

The agreement represents a practical framework for including the Emirate of Ajman within the system of destinations promoted by Coral Travel in the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, through the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns targeting specific segments of travelers, and the development of travel packages designed according to accurate analyzes of European consumer behavior, in addition to empowering the network of travel agents and sales partners with marketing tools and knowledge that enhance the emirate’s presence at points of sale.

Under the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in reading demand indicators and travel trends in Central European markets, and work to design flexible tourism products that respond to market changes and keep pace with the growing demand for destinations that combine cultural depth, beach experiences, and family activities within a safe, high-quality environment.

His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi stressed that the department adopts a strategic approach based on building long-term partnerships with major international tour operators, which enhances the emirate’s position as a competitive destination among the European traveler’s choices, and keeps pace with the rapid transformations in the global travel industry.

He pointed out that the agreement falls within an integrated vision aimed at maximizing the emirate’s market share in high-value European markets, pointing out that the focus on Central European markets is based on accurate performance indicators that reflect the importance of these markets in terms of the volume of tourist traffic and average spending, which supports the goals of economic diversification and enhances the sustainability of growth in the tourism sector.

Mr. Hijabi Ayhan, Director of Product Management at Coral Travel, pointed out that the inclusion of Ajman in Coral Travel’s programs in the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland expands the portfolio of destinations available to the company’s clients, stressing that the emirate possesses tourism components capable of achieving high attractiveness among travelers looking for authentic and balanced experiences that combine relaxation and the cultural dimension.

The agreement reflects the department’s continued implementation of an expansion strategy based on market analysis and building influential partnerships, thus enhancing the emirate’s presence in the European tourism scene and consolidating its position as a value-added destination at the international level.
