Empower distributes 2.575 billion dirhams in profits since its listing in Dubai Financial

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) has confirmed its commitment to distributing dividends to shareholders regularly, twice a year since its listing on the Dubai Financial Market in November 2022.

According to a press release issued today, the total profits distributed to shareholders during the past three years amounted to 2.575 billion dirhams.

Empower CEO Ahmed Bin Shafar said: “Empower’s rising profit results reflect the success of our business expansion and innovation strategy, which confirms our commitment to fulfilling all the goals that we shared with our shareholders. The rise in profitable revenues has been directly accompanied by the expansion of projects in our business portfolio and the rapid growth in their operational effectiveness.”

During the year 2023, the General Assembly of Empower approved the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders worth 850 million dirhams, which were paid in two equal installments worth 425 million dirhams during the months of April and October. This distribution came as part of the commitment to distribute dividends twice annually during the first two financial years after the organization was listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

In the second fiscal year 2024, the Corporation distributed similar cash dividends worth 850 million dirhams, also in two equal installments worth 425 million dirhams during the months of April and October.

In 2025, shareholders approved the distribution of dividends amounting to 875 million dirhams, paid in two equal installments of 437.5 million dirhams during the months of April and October.
