Scotland.. A huge fire causes the collapse of a building at Glasgow Central Station


Cause A huge fire in a historic building next to Glasgow Central Station in Scotland, in a partial collapse in the building that required the evacuation of the surrounding area, but no casualties were reported.

The local authorities explained that the fire started in a store on the street "Union Street" Before the fire spread to the building, which dates back to 1851 AD, causing part of it to collapse several hours after the fire broke out.

For its part, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Services reported that they sent more than (60) firefighters and about (15) fire engines and specialized equipment to control the fire, in addition to temporarily stopping train services at the station, which is considered the busiest in Scotland.
