Emirates Airlines unveils a new livery for the A380 bearing the country’s flag

Yesterday, Emirates Airlines unveiled a distinctive livery bearing the UAE flag, in a large size that extends over the fuselage of its Airbus A380, the largest commercial passenger aircraft in the world.
The company stated in a statement that this new design on the aircraft, which bears the registration “A6-EVG”, comes as an extension of the carrier’s famous tail identity, embodying the feelings of pride and pride in the country’s flag and the symbol of its sovereignty, and the values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its leadership.
The carrier added that this initiative also comes within the framework of the campaign “Our flag remains high in the sky,” in response to the national initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, which called on citizens and residents to raise the flag of the UAE, as it is a symbol that unites society and embodies shared responsibility and pride in the nation’s strength and cohesion in the face of recent challenges.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, said: “Since the founding of (Emirates Airlines), the flag of the United Arab Emirates has remained present at the core of our identity, accompanying our flights to various parts of the world, and expressing our affiliation and values.”
His Highness added: “In response to the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, this new livery confirms our pride in a nation that has been and remains the primary supporter of our journey, and a country that has established a global model of what can be achieved when vision is integrated with ambition and work.”
His Highness stressed: “Our aircraft will remain platforms that proudly bear this symbol, as we continue our role in enhancing the UAE’s presence on the global stage and consolidating its position among nations.”
The Airbus A380 aircraft with its distinctive livery flew on flights to New York and Brisbane, and will also be used on flights to various Emirates destinations served by A380 aircraft. Emirates Airlines reported that work is currently underway to implement the same livery to decorate one of its Boeing 777 aircraft.
