Direct talks between Kiev and Moscow
The United States mediated several rounds of direct talks between Kiev and Moscow in an attempt to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine that began in 2022.
The exchange of prisoners and bodies is the only tangible result of these talks, which have been suspended since the outbreak of war in the Middle East at the end of February.
