المملكة: "Real Estate Authority": Thursday ends the period for registering real estate in Riyadh, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, and Medina

Declared General Real Estate Authority The deadline for the first in-kind registration of real estate for (8,888) real estate plots in the Diriyah Governorate in the Riyadh region is approaching, and (7,925) Real estate plot in (16) neighborhoods in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and (15,133) real estate plots in (14) neighborhoods in the Medina region, by the end of the day, at the end of Thursday, Ramadan 30, 1447 AH, corresponding to March 19, 2026 AD.
Expiry date for neighborhood registration
It indicated that the in-kind registration of the property will end in the following neighborhoods in Mecca. Al-Mukarramah: (Revan plans 1, 2, 3, 4, and Al-Yasmine plans 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
Registration ends in the following neighborhoods in Jeddah Governorate: (Al-Fanar neighborhood, Al-Firdaws neighborhood), and the following neighborhoods in Medina: (Part of Al-Asba neighborhood, part of Al-Dara’ neighborhood, part of Al-Masana’ district, part of Al-Raya district, part of Al-Khatim, part of the Al-Fath neighborhood, part of the Bani Haritha neighborhood, Al-Arayedh neighborhood, Al-Khalidiya neighborhood, Al-Iskan neighborhood, part of the Wadi Mahzour neighborhood, part of the Shuraybat neighborhood, part of the Bani Abdul-Ashhal neighborhood, part of the Wadi Mudhainab neighborhood).
The Authority called on the owners of real estate located within the scope of the neighborhoods to quickly take the initiative to register their properties through The Real Estate Registry Platform before the end of the registration period to benefit from the services of implementing real estate transactions and documenting all changes that occur to the property.
She explained that the Real Estate Registry will be issued "Property number" An ownership registration instrument for each real estate unit that is registered. The new ownership registration instrument includes the precise geographical location of the property, its owner’s data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it. To be a basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, in a way that contributes to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its main capabilities.
Delinquency and imposition of fines
The Authority confirmed that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes its owners to the financial fines contained in the real estate registration system determined by a committee specialized in looking into violations, and that requests for real estate registration of real estate continue in all declared areas even after the expiry of the registration period specified in the announcement decision.
It is noteworthy that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Land Registry) is responsible for implementing the work of establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data.
