Badr Jaafar contributes to the campaign "Life limit" For 10 million dirhams

Dubai, 17 March / WAM / His Excellency Badr Jaafar, CEO of Crescent Enterprises, announced the provision of a personal contribution worth 10 million dirhams, in addition to launching a partnership with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation to implement an international effort with international institutions that resulted in financial pledges from these institutions, in support of the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him.” In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, to provide at least one billion dirhams to be invested in combating child hunger in the world.
The announcement of the contribution came during the Ramadan Suhoor organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, at the Armani Hotel Dubai in Burj Khalifa, which brought together an elite group of leaders of charitable institutions and business leaders in cooperation with His Excellency Badr Jaafar.
His Excellency Badr Jaafar said that the UAE, in all circumstances, adopts a culture of giving and human solidarity, as it is our identity as a country and a society, noting that the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, represents a strong embodiment of this truth. It is a commitment to protecting the world’s most vulnerable children, and it is a true expression of our humanity.
He added that the decision of a number of prestigious international charitable and humanitarian institutions to support the campaign carries meanings that go far beyond numbers, as it embodies the level of deep confidence that the UAE enjoys on the global stage, and that the UAE’s role in the world is not limited to achieving success, but is also represented in demonstrating its purpose.
His Excellency Badr Jaafar praised the pledges announced by several international institutions and organizations during the Ramadan Suhoor event to support the campaign, stressing that this exceptional interaction reflects the deep confidence in the humanitarian initiatives of the UAE, and the country’s mission to support noble goals and serve humanitarian causes around the world.
The campaign comes in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and Action Against Hunger, and focuses in particular on children who face the most dangerous forms of hunger in the most vulnerable communities, especially in areas of disasters, crises and conflicts, where 5 children under the age of five die from malnutrition and hunger in the world every minute.
