المملكة: The success of the operational plan on the night of reciting the Qur’an in the major mosques in Medina

Announced Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by its branch in the Medina, The night of concluding the Holy Qur’an in the Tahajjud prayer, within an integrated system of field and organizational services that contributed to creating a safe and reassuring faith atmosphere for the worshipers.

These mosques come with the historical symbolism they carry and a deep-rooted place in the Islamic conscience, as they are among the landmarks associated with the Prophet’s biography and Islamic history, in addition to being a major destination for visitors to Medina, which reinforces the importance of intensifying organizational and service efforts there during the seasons. Faith, especially in the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan.

High flow in the movement of worshipers

The Ministry branch explained that the operational plan contributed – thanks to God – in achieving a high flow in the movement of worshipers entering and leaving, and organizing prayer sites inside the mosques and their courtyards, by intensifying field efforts and directing worshipers to the designated sites, ensuring optimal use of the entire carrying capacity of the mosques and the surrounding courtyards, and reducing Overcrowding.

Maintenance, operation, and cleanliness work, which was enhanced before and after prayer, also contributed to raising the level of readiness inside mosques, in addition to preparing facilities and ensuring the efficiency of sound, air conditioning, and lighting systems, which provided a prepared environment that helps worshipers perform their worship in an atmosphere of reverence and tranquility.

The highest standards of organization and safety

Field efforts also included assigning observers. The supervisors and workers in the mosques are following up on the implementation of the plan on the ground, and organizing the movement of worshipers, in addition to continuous coordination with the relevant authorities, which contributed to the integration of efforts and achieving the highest standards of organization and safety during this blessed night, which witnessed a large turnout of worshippers.

The branch confirmed that the success of this plan comes as an extension of the Ministry’s keenness, and under the guidance and follow-up of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh – may God protect him – for taking care of the houses of God, harnessing all capabilities to serve the worshipers, and creating the appropriate atmosphere for them to perform their worship with ease and reassurance, in fulfillment of the directives of the wise leadership – may God support them – in caring for mosques and serving their visitors.
