Egypt confirms its full support for the security and legal measures taken by the UAE, Kuwait and the Gulf states to protect their security
Cairo, March 21 / WAM / Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist and sabotage plans targeting the security and stability of the Gulf countries, most recently the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait, which the national security services in both countries were able to thwart and successfully dismantle the networks based on them.
In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry affirmed its full solidarity with the UAE, Kuwait, and all Gulf states, and that it stands by its side in the face of any attempts aimed at undermining its sovereignty, compromising its security stability, or terrorizing its citizens and residents of its lands.
The statement expressed Egypt’s full support for all security and legal steps, procedures and measures taken by the competent authorities in the Emirates, Kuwait and other Gulf states to protect their security and people and preserve their capabilities and internal stability, reiterating its categorical rejection of forms of violence and terrorism, and any attempts to destabilize the countries of the region.
