Iran allowed 10 oil tankers to cross the Strait of Hormuz

Today, US President Donald Trump hinted that Iran would allow ten oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz as a good faith gesture in the negotiations, including some ships flying the Pakistani flag.

Trump made these statements during a cabinet meeting at the White House, explaining what he had previously described as a “gift” from Iran.

“They said, ‘To prove our sincerity, our strength, and our existence, we will give you eight oil ships… eight big oil ships,’” Trump said.

He added, “I think they (the ships) were flying the Pakistani flag… It ended up being ten ships.”
