trainer "Ferry Glen": Winning the first Dubai World Cup is a special milestone in my career

Dubai, March 28 / WAM / Simon and Ed Christopher confirmed the trainer of the mare “Fairy Glen”, owned by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid.

Al Maktoum, who won the Dubai Gold Cup title in the third round of the 30th edition of the Dubai World Cup held today at Meydan Racecourse, said that the decision to push the horse to participate in the race came after its distinguished performance during the morning training, and its display of remarkable speed on the track.

Christopher said during the press conference following the race: “The mare has never participated in races exceeding 3 miles, which raised some doubts about her ability to withstand the additional distance, but her previous experience running on heavy ground in Bath last October gave her the confidence of the team.”

The coach expressed his great happiness in achieving his first victory on the night of the Dubai World Cup, stressing that this achievement represents a special milestone in his career, especially after a successful season that witnessed positive results, and he expressed his hope to achieve more victories during the rest of the participations.
