The Head of State and US Senator Joni Ernst discuss regional developments
Abu Dhabi, 29 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him” – discussed – during a video call – with Senator Joni Ernst, a member of the United States Senate, the strategic cooperation relations between the UAE and the United States and the mutual keenness to continue strengthening it in a way that serves their common interests and brings goodness and development to their peoples.
The call touched on the developments taking place in the region and their dangerous repercussions on regional and international security and peace, and they exchanged views on them.
He also touched on the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks against the UAE and countries in the region, which target civilians and civilian facilities and infrastructure. Joni Ernst condemned these attacks because they represent a violation of the sovereignty of countries and international laws and norms.
The meeting, which took place via video communication technology, was attended by His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States of America
