The Head of State made a phone call with the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, during which he condemned the terrorist attack that targeted his house.

Abu Dhabi, March 29 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, made a phone call with His Excellency Nechirvan Barzani, President of the brotherly Iraqi Kurdistan region, during which he expressed his condemnation of the terrorist attack that targeted His Excellency’s house in Dohuk Governorate.

During the call, His Highness renewed the UAE’s support for everything that strengthens the security of the brotherly Republic of Iraq and the Iraqi Kurdistan region.

For his part, His Excellency Nechirvan Barzani expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the brotherly stances of the UAE towards Iraq in general and the Iraqi Kurdistan region in particular.

The call addressed the ongoing Iranian terrorist aggression against the UAE and the countries of the region, which targets civilians and civilian facilities and infrastructure. His Excellency renewed his condemnation of this terrorist aggression as it represents a violation of the sovereignty of states, international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and an undermining of regional and international peace and security.
