المملكة: Execution of a discretionary death sentence for a cocaine smuggler in Mecca


Issued The Ministry of Interior, today, issued a statement regarding the implementation of a discretionary death sentence against one of the perpetrators in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, the text of which follows:

God Almighty said: "And do not spread corruption in the land after it has been set in order."And God Almighty said: "And do not seek corruption on earth, for God does not like corruptors."And God Almighty said: "And God does not like corruption"And God Almighty said: "The punishment for those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive upon earth to cause corruption is only that they be killed, or be crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off from conflict or They will be banished from the land. This is for them disgrace in this world, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment."

Adam Ali Adam Muhammad – a Sudanese national – smuggled the narcotic cocaine into the Kingdom. By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing the crime. By referring him to the competent court, a ruling was issued against him proving what was attributed to him and killing him as a discretionary punishment. The ruling became final after he appealed and was then upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided according to Sharia law. The death sentence was carried out as a punishment for the perpetrator/ Adam Ali Adam Muhammad – Sudanese nationality – on Saturday 10/16/1447 AH corresponding to 4/4/2026 AD in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.

The Ministry of the Interior announces this to confirm to everyone the keenness of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect the security of citizens and residents from the scourge of drugs, and to impose the harshest penalties prescribed by law against its smugglers and dealers, due to the loss of life it causes. Innocence, gross corruption in youth, the individual and society, and a violation of their rights. At the same time, it warns everyone who does this that legitimate punishment will be their fate, and God guides to the right path.
