China’s inflation rate rose by 1% in March

BEIJING, 10 APRIL/WAM/ The Consumer Price Index in China, a key measure of inflation, rose by 1 percent year-on-year last March, based on official data released today.
Xinhua News Agency reported that the National Bureau of Statistics also revealed that the producer price index, which measures the costs of goods at the factory gate, rose by 0.5 percent year-on-year last March.
