Al Ain defeats Shabab Al Ahly in the 22nd round of the ADNOC Professional League
Abu Dhabi, April 10 / WAM / Al Ain defeated Shabab Al Ahly, 3-2, tonight at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, in the culmination of the matches of the 22nd round of the ADNOC Professional Football League competition.
Al Ain raised its score to 56 points at the top of the rankings, while Shabab Al Ahly’s score stopped at 52 points in second place.
Al Ain opened the scoring through Rami Rabia (44th minute), and Youri Cesar equalized for Shabab Al Ahly (46th minute), before Al Ain took the lead again through Laba Kodjo (56th minute). Shabab Al-Ahly returned to a draw through Youri Cesar again (67th minute), before Al-Hussein Rahimi decided the confrontation in favor of Al-Ain with a third goal in the 87th minute.
Within the matches of the same round, Baniyas tied with Sharjah 1-1 at Baniyas Stadium.
Baniyas raised its score to 22 points, and Sharjah to 25 points.
Othman Kamara scored for Sharjah (10th minute), while Sharjah player Zhu Yu Min scored the goal by mistake against his team (51st minute).
