After a drug case…a controversial international artist joins a rehabilitation center!

Controversial American singer Britney Spears entered a rehabilitation center specializing in treating substance abuse, weeks after she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in California.

A spokesman for her confirmed to the New York Post through the Page Six section that she joined the center voluntarily, in a step that came after her arrest in Ventura, and that she will appear before the court on May 4.

According to close sources, the incident represented a turning point in the life of Spears (44 years old), as she went through a difficult psychological state, and seemed deeply affected, with a feeling of embarrassment and remorse for what happened, especially after a period described as stressful during the past months.

The details of the incident date back to March 4, when the police stopped her after observing her driving zigzag between lanes. An unknown substance was found inside her car, and it was suggested that she was under the influence of a mixture of alcohol and drugs, before she was released the next day.

The case is still being followed up by the District Attorney’s Office in Ntura, in preparation for taking appropriate legal measures.

In her first comment, Spears posted video clips on her Instagram account with her son, Jayden, thanking her followers for their support, and stressing the importance of spending time with family.

She also recently appeared in clips during a cruise on a yacht with her two sons, while she spent Easter with a number of her friends from the artistic community, including songwriter Diane Warren and actress Molly Shannon.

Britney Spears has repeatedly sparked controversy due to videos on social media, in which she appears with unconventional behavior and sometimes with bold and sarcastic looks, which led to the public being divided between those who see it as an expression of her freedom and those who express concern about her condition.
