The Bridge Alliance approves November 28 as the launch date for the second session of the Bridge Summit on Yas Island

The Bridge Alliance announced the organization of the second session of the Bridge Summit on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, during the period from November 28 to December 2, 2026, in partnership with the Miral Group, with its activities extending for five days.
This came during a meeting of the Board of Directors of the “Bridge” Alliance, headed by Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, where the Board reviewed the outcomes of the first session and the status it has established for the summit as a global platform that brings together leaders, decision makers, and investors, and provides opportunities for more effective and integrated partnerships at the global level.
The meeting discussed the topics of planning for the “Bridge 2026” Summit, which will witness a qualitative transformation in its structure and work mechanisms, by moving from the annual event model to a sustainable work platform throughout the year, based on specialized paths that address the challenges facing the media sector, in addition to launching practical initiatives that support responsible innovation, thus establishing “Bridge” as a global reference for credibility and professional cooperation.
Abdullah Al Hamed stressed that the next session of the summit will not be an extension of the previous ones, but rather represents a qualitative leap on three levels, as the summit will move to a larger area on Yas Island, reflecting the breadth of the agenda and ambitions. It will also extend to five days instead of three, to give innovation a longer time, while its content will focus on the creative economy, integrity of information, and enabling future generations to shape the features of a media that not only conveys the news, but rather creates the opportunity.
He stressed that the goal is to move from the momentum stage to the institutional stage, from dialogue to implementation, and from gathering votes to unifying efforts, noting that “Bridge” represents a bridge that brings geopolitical contradictions to the dialogue table, and unites global ambitions under one roof.
He noted that the next stage represents a decisive transition from the logic of the event to the logic of the system, and from a seasonal movement to a long-term institutional project that redefines the position of the media in the equation of development, economy and knowledge.
For his part, Vice President of the Alliance, Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, confirmed that the new updates reflect the UAE’s transition from supporting the media economy to engineering its executive platforms, indicating that the second edition will focus on deepening the quality of professional interaction through organized work mechanisms linking investors, producers, and content makers.
The meeting concluded with in-depth discussions that confirmed that the upcoming summit represents a historic opportunity to consolidate Bridge’s position as a platform that reflects the voice of global media, contributes to shaping its future and enhancing the content economy.
