The Strait of Hormuz is open and a number of ships have been observed crossing it

Commander of US Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, confirmed that the Strait of Hormuz is open and a number of ships have been monitored crossing it.
He said in statements today that US Navy forces do not escort ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
He added that the naval blockade on Iran continues, with the participation of more than 10,000 soldiers, capable of continuing to impose the blockade no matter what the situation requires.
He pointed out that 19 ships were intercepted as part of the naval blockade that stopped Iranian maritime trade.
