Talks with Iran are going “very well” and may lead to results by the end of the week

US President Donald Trump said that negotiations with Iran are witnessing progress that he described as “very good,” suggesting that there may be a development in the file over the weekend.

Trump explained during a press conference at the White House on Wednesday that if an agreement is reached, Iran will agree not to possess a nuclear weapon.

In another context, he indicated that his country “can continue the war for an additional two or three weeks and eliminate everyone,” but stressed that he preferred not to resort to that option.

Trump added that “any scenario is still possible with Iran,” noting that the Iranian leadership “has changed three times.”
