المملكة: “Weqaya” calls for screening newcomers.. and “Sihati” opens the doors for early booking


Public Health Authority “Weqaya” urges parents to take the initiative to book medical fitness examination appointments for new students through the “Sihati” application, to ensure their health and academic readiness before the start of the academic year.

Weqaya confirmed that this preventive measure comes within the proactive national efforts aimed at Early detectionof any potential health problems.

Conducting the examination

She explained that the comprehensive examination aims to address any obstacles that may negatively affect academic achievement, or threaten public safety within the educational environment.

She indicated that conducting the fitness examination is carried out through primary health care centers, and contributes directly to the accurate assessment of the student’s health condition, to take appropriate measures when needed.

Weqaya stressed the necessity of completing basic vaccinations. For newcomers, with the examination results documented electronically by the health center, to ensure data integrity and facilitate procedures.

She stressed that “a simple, timely decision, such as conducting a medical examination, can have a lasting health impact,” calling on everyone to take advantage of the available digital services.
