المملكة: The Minister of Islamic Affairs chairs the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Hajj Works


Your Excellency Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance The General Supervisor of the Works of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Works for Hajj, Umrah and Visitation, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, in his office in Riyadh today, the meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Works for Hajj, Umrah and Visitation, with the participation and presence of members of the committee including the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, General Directors and a number of officials.

During the meeting, the operational plans and early preparations that the Ministry is implementing for Hajj season 1447 AH, and determining the level of readiness in various service and advocacy tracks, ensuring the provision of integrated services to Guests of the Most Mercifulaccording to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Readiness of mosques

The meeting discussed a number of main topics, including awareness and guidance programmes, plans for distributing the Qur’an and scientific publications, and implementing field preaching programmes, in addition to the readiness of mosques in the holy sites and preparing them to receive pilgrims, in a way that enables them to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.

And see His Excellency reviewed the performance reports for previous seasons, the lessons learned, and the most prominent targeted improvement indicators, stressing the importance of integration between the ministry’s sectors, and raising the level of coordination with the relevant authorities, in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of the wise leadership – may God support it – in improving the services provided to the guests of God. It is reflected in the development and integration of the services system year after year, stressing the need to redouble efforts, enhance operational readiness, and harness all capabilities to serve the guests of God.
