To save fuel.. Britain allows airlines to combine flights
The British Department for Transport announced that it would allow brings passengers from different flights together on smaller planes, under plans to save fuel
The temporary change in rules will allow Combining flights on routes that have multiple flights to the same destination on the same day.
The Ministry of Transport explained that this means that passengers can be transferred from the flight they originally booked to a similar flight to reduce the amount of fuel wasted from flying aircraft whose seats are not fully sold and may have been cancelled.
