Jordan condemns the Iranian attack on an Emirati tanker while it was passing through the Strait of Hormuz

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan condemned the Iranian attack that targeted an Emirati tanker belonging to the ADNOC company while it was passing through the Strait of Hormuz, as a flagrant violation of international law and Security Council Resolution No. 2817.

In a statement today, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs affirmed Jordan’s rejection and denunciation of this attack, stressing Jordan’s absolute solidarity with the UAE and its full support in all the steps it takes to protect its sovereignty, security and the safety of its citizens.
