The Jordanian army shot down 3 drones loaded with drugs on the border with Israel

The Jordanian army announced in a statement on Wednesday that border guard forces shot down three drones loaded with drugs on the western kingdom’s border with Israel.

The statement said, “Today, Wednesday, the Southern Military District thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotic drugs using three drones on its western front (with Israel), in coordination with the military security services and the Narcotics Control Administration.”

He explained that “the rules of engagement were applied after the marches were monitored by the border guard forces and they were shot down inside Jordanian territory,” noting that “the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities.”
